AI Driven L&D and App Development

Building AI Apps For Productivity

I build custom AI apps using AWS PartyRock regularly to support my work. PartRock is a no-code platform that makes it easy to create and test AI-powered tools without writing a single line of code. It’s perfect for quickly prototyping ideas, experimenting with generative AI, and building tools tailored to real-world tasks. I use AI regularly to ideate, polish writing, and organize notes and thoughts. Here are a few examples I am able to make available to the public.

SOP Architect: This app streamlines the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by allowing users to input key details such as the process name, audience, and desired tone. It then generates a structured, professional SOP draft, saving time and ensuring consistency in documentation. Link: https://partyrock.aws/u/jayla8276/9RlHNthFi/SOP-Architect

CareerCraft: CareerCraft assists individuals in crafting compelling career narratives. By inputting personal experiences, skills, and career goals, users receive tailored summaries that can enhance resumes, LinkedIn profiles, or cover letters, making career transitions smoother and more effective. Link: https://partyrock.aws/u/jayla8276/cu-JYlzi0/CareerCraft

Assessment Idea Generator: Designed for educators and trainers, this tool generates diverse assessment ideas based on specified learning objectives and topics. It helps in creating varied and engaging evaluation methods, from quizzes to practical tasks, aligning with educational goals. Link: https://partyrock.aws/u/jayla8276/z9xpwWMMJ/Assessment-Idea-Generator

Below is a walkthrough video where I input content into the app fields and show the results live—highlighting how AI can be both accessible and impactful when designed with intention.

AI Prompt Writing

I taken advantage of access to AWS Skill Builder coursed to take the AI Prompt Writing course to make sure I wasn’t just throwing random questions at a robot and hoping for magic. Prompt writing is one of those underrated skills—get it wrong, and you’ll get weird, off-the-wall answers (aka: garbage in, garbage out). This image was created with a very minimal prompt and this is reflected through the chaos and discrepancies.

I’ve got a solid foundation now in how to write clear, effective prompts so I can get more useful, smart outputs from AI tools. The majority of the images on this site were created with AI as well.
